Transport to the cottage

Lofsdalen is easily accessible by car, train, or plane.

To reach Linnéan 2, a car is required as the cottage is located above the village, and public transport does not go all the way up. However, a taxi service is available in Lofsdalen if needed for local transport.

If you are driving, the journey takes approximately 6 hours from Stockholm, 3 hours from Östersund, and 9 hours from Gothenburg. Free parking is available at the cottage.
For those traveling by train, take the train to Ljusdal, then transfer to a bus to Sveg. From Sveg, another bus will take you to Lofsdalen. If you prefer not to take the bus, rental cars are available near Ljusdal train station, allowing for a direct drive to Lofsdalen.
The nearest airport is Sveg Airport, located 70 km from Lofsdalen. Rental cars are available at the airport, making it easy to continue your journey by car.
